The Kiosk mode allows to you display an iPad or a tablet at the front of your facility, so your customers can type their name or phone number in to trigger several types of actions in Captyn.
Step 1: Enable Check-in’s for all offerings you’d like to enable the Kiosk mode for.
Our Kiosk Mode is tied to Check-ins, you can read more about check-ins by clicking here.
From your home-screen in Captyn, select Programming —> Select the offering —> Settings —> Management —> Scroll to the bottom and toggle on: “Enable check-in”.
If you are using the Kiosk mode for attendance, we suggest selecting the “Auto mark as attended with check in” option as well.

“Allow customer to self check in” is referring to giving customers the option to check-in from their own device in advance. This is typically used for punch-card functionality or reservations. This setting is not needed to use the Kiosk mode.
Step 2: Open the Kiosk Mode on your iPad/tablet
On the Tablet you plan to use as your Kiosk, navigate to the Today Screen
Select the View button near the top right, and then select Kiosk

There you have it! Set up the Tablet near the front of your facility and you are good to go!
