Overview
Captyn offers two settings on the Today screen for your classes as it relates to your participants' attendance in the offering. The default option is to display your full roster from the Today screen and select the √ to mark them as attended. You can also mark check-ins and check-outs as well. All activity is also trackable on an offering level.
We have two settings that you can have for either standard "marking as attended" or a "check in/check out" function. Without further settings adjustments, the standard "mark as attended" function will be enabled.
You will click on a class and the roster will be exposed for you. You can then select the √ to mark the participant as attended. It looks like this.
This is a nice feature because it displays your roster with just one tap and then you can choose to mark the participant as attended or not. This setting is managed on the Management tab of an offering's settings.
You can choose to "Enable check in". Doing so will also give you the option to enable check out, as well as a slew of other great functions (like letting your customers check themselves in, or set a charge for check ins (great for a drop in function)).
This is what that flow looks like if you have Check in enabled. Notice how you first check the participant in on the pop up window (via the Manage check ins button) and then check them out from the class view on the today screen.
Tracking These Activities
You can view the Activity logs of these check ins, etc., from the Activity tab found on the particular Offering's page within Captyn. Choose the Activity tab along the top to see these stats.
You can even check the "Show Absences" button to view participants that have missed a class.
