Overview
Use Bulk Edit to update and manage multiple classes at once. Use this update things like when a class is visible, which coupons/discounts to apply, update pricing, add waivers, assign staff, and a whole lot more. You will find that most of the features on a the edit screen for a class is available to be done in bulk. You can either filter down to select a few classes or select all.
How to Edit
Start on the Programming screen and you can choose to filter with the basic filters along the top:
Or you can get even more specific with the filters on the sidebar:
Once you have the list of classes you wish to edit, choose Actions and select Edit List. This will take you to a page which will give you all of the available options to edit.
What You Can Edit
On the Bulk Edit screen, you are presented with a handful of options to which you can edit.
Of note: Each option you select will have a secondary screen that allows you to set the management details of each. For example, you may be asked to choose a date from a date picker, set a dollar value, choose a waiver to apply, or even adjust membership levels.
You can edit the Start Date for a class. This is when programming will begin.
You can edit the End Date for a class. This is when programming will end.
You can set Excluded Dates, which are dates your class will not meet that fall into the range of the Start Date and End Date.
You can assign your Default Staff for this class.
Set if the classes require a registration (default), or if all participants linked to it should be automatically enrolled. If choosing to automatically enroll, it may be based on further Membership settings.
You can restrict the offering's availability to only customers that hold a certain membership, which is set here. For example, all registrants need to hold a Registration Fee membership to be able to register.
You can adjust the price for the offering based on the membership level(s) held. Maybe you have a certain Membership level that offers a discounted per class rate.
You can adjust the open date of the selected offerings to be different from that of the general public. For example, you may give a perk to those that sign up to be a member of being able to register early.
You can set the age range for the offerings.
Set the Base Price for your offering here. This is the price shown to the public.
Choose whether or not to Prorate the beginning of the first month and end of the final month.
Choose whether or not to prorate dates of the class held prior to registration.
"Prorate the beginning of the first month & end of the final month" is a setting for the class itself, meaning if the class starts on August 10 and ends on August 24, it will only charge for the amount for 3 classes (even though there are 5 Thursdays in the month). So, if the base price is $100, and that Prorate is enabled, the month of August would only charge $60 for the three classes.
The second option, "Prorate price to adjust for class times held prior to registration", is a setting for the participant, meaning if the participant signs up on August 10, and the class began August 3, then that account would only pay $80 for the month (4/5 classes would be attended).
Choose to add excluded dates to your offering that can be prorated.
Set capacity limits on your offering to limit the amount of registrations you accept for a particular offering.
Enable or Disable the waitlist on an offering.
Set the Waitlist capacity (only needed if having a waitlist).
Choose whether you want to review each registration or have all registrants be automatically enrolled in the class. If you choose to review, you will see the push notification increment with each new registration. A pending registration does still charge the customer, and declining a registration does not refund them automatically (although you can choose to do it in the flow).
You can enable or disable the option for check in on a class.
You can choose to charge customers when they check in. You will set the amount here in addition to enabling the feature. Check in must be enabled for this function to work.
You can choose to automatically mark a participant as attended once they have been checked in as opposed to having a secondary tap post check in.
Easily make a class viewable to the public. This does not mean they can register yet, just simply view it.
Make an offering open for registration so your customers can sign up.
Add tags to the selected classes.
Add coupons to a set of offerings you have selected.
Add any multi-participant or multi-enrollment discounts to the offerings selected.
Require any Info Requests on offerings you wish to collect upon from your participants upon registration.
Apply any add-ons you wish to offer for sale on your offerings.
Set any agreements you may have on your offerings. You might have already set your Agreements to be Global, which would mean this step would not be required.
Add any line item fees to your offerings to collect things like Sales Tax or System Fees.
