This article explains how Captyn handles time zones for your Programming and gives some suggestions for how to best present it to your participants.
Understanding the Time Zone in Captyn
The time zone is dependent upon your Organization Settings > General Information.
Our registration pages will show the time zone when it’s different from the local time zone of the registering participant. Let's say your organization is based in the Eastern time zone, and you have someone in the Central time zone signing up. This is what they will see for the class:
The classes you create will be set up in the time zone entered in your Organization Settings, and those registering outside of that time zone will see the time for the class displayed as it is above.
Additional Options
You can supplement the Program's Description settings with this info on a per-class setup. Like this:
Additionally, you could rely solely on the description (shown above) and remove the class times from your setup by calling it an all-day event.
