Setting Limits for Swimmers in Meets

Overview

When creating a meet in Captyn, you can set the limit of entries per swimmer or per session. Read on to find out how.

Setting Limits Per Swimmer

When you are in your meet inside of Captyn, you can click on the Official Meet Settings tab at the top of the meet, which will give you the controls in the side panel you need.

First, choose Entry Rules from the left hand side panel.

Scroll down this page and here you will find the ways to set these limits. First, enable the option to Set individual event entry limit per swimmer. This will give you access to the fields below.

You can then set the max number of individual entries per swimmer, set relay event entry limits per swimmer, and set an overall event entry limit per swimmer as well.

Setting Limits Per Session

To set it this way, head to the same Official Meet Settings tab.

Next, click on Sessions on the left-hand panel.

To the right of one of the sessions, click the icon to edit this session.

In this box that appears, you can choose to enable the option to Set entry limits for this session. After this, you can control the fields you set: Max number of individual entries per swimmer, max number of relay entries per swimmer, and max number of overall entries per swimmer.
