Secondary Contacts

Overview

Captyn offers a couple of ways to be able to link additional contacts to an account profile. The levels of access with these options do vary, but they are very helpful solutions to keep all people in the loop.


Additional Contacts

You can use the concept of Secondary Contacts. To do this, head to an account profile and click Manage on the right side. From here, you can choose the option to add the secondary contact info along the bottom. Automated emails and text messages sent to the primary account will also be sent to these additional contacts. Additional contacts do not have account access and are not available to directly contact anywhere in Captyn.


Linked Accounts

You can create a linked account, which is a little bit more for that user. This will create a full account for the new linked account, with access to more functions other than just notifications. This can be done just above the option to add additional contact information. This function will allow others to sign in and manage this account using their own email and phone number.
