Overview
There are multiple ways to do Make Up Classes in Captyn. This article covers a common way to do it if you do not intend to charge.
How To Set It Up
Have an offering(s) that are open ended. Meaning they just repeat each Wednesday, for example. It could be a class that is created and automatically applied to each of your accounts and participants. Then, for a parent to claim a session, they would log into their Captyn customer account, find the class on their schedule, and check in. Then, all you have to do is monitor it on the Today screen.

Then you would have the Eligibility set to automatically enroll for all:
Then be sure to Enable Check In via the Management settings so your customers can do so:
Of Note: You can enable "Charge upon check in" and set a price per class if you wish to charge an additional fee for these make up sessions as they are attended without having to charge for the entire offering registration. You can additionally add a one-time charge at registration in the Registration Billing section of the settings here to collect a fee if needed.
The Customer Experience
This way, anyone at all in your Captyn account would have this on their personal schedule. So if someone needs to book a makeup, all they have to do is login to their Captyn dash, and choose like this:

How To Manage Attendees
Then they are on the roster. And then all you have to do from an Admin perspective is keep an eye on the Today screen when you are hosting the sessions, and you will be good!
